Who doesn't know the story of Rapunzel, the distressed princess locked in the tower by the nasty witch Gothel waiting to be rescued by her prince charming! Well, this was certainly one of my favorite timeless ‘once upon a time' classic of Grimm Brother and their enchanting magical world. And now that the story once I read in books is coming in visual screen of theatres with 3D animation effect I just cannot wait to watch it! Thanks to Walt Disney Animated Studios and also to Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, the directors, we are getting to see yet another 3D animated film, this time with my favorite story line.
The film is scheduled to release on 24 November, 2010 the day before Thanksgiving so I have decided to watch the movie with my entire family on that very day and that too absolutely free! Yes, you heard it right! I'm going to watch Tangled (2010) online for free.
The movie begins with the prince and the princess expecting the birth of their child. Unfortunately, the queen becomes very ill during her pregnancy and comes almost close to death while childbirth. Desperate to save the queen, a faithful servant steals a magical herb from the garden of evil that belongs to the witch named Gothel. The herb heals the queen and the special healing power gets transferred to the child in her womb. Enraged, the witch Gothel kidnaps Rapunzel to get back the youth restoring power from Rapunzel. All her life Rapunzel stays captivated in the tower with the ghastly witch until one day a petty thief Flynn Rider breaks into the tower. Rapunzel takes away from Flynn his bag of jewel and promises him to return the bag only if he takes her to the festival of light. From here begins the real adventure, the rescue of the princess and the thief sneaking the eyes of the royal guards and the witch Gothel.
