But before we hit the cinemas this year, letâs remember to get a copy of the DVDs of those films that are worth buying and watching again, and again, and again.
Here are the DVD releases for 2010 unforgettable movies. Alice in Wonderland, the modified story of the classic tale of Alice (now that sheâs grown up and all that) stars Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway and other major stars. The DVD was released at the second half of 2010, and has been selling like hotcakes.
Another DVD that has been released early this year that has earned attention from different film critics in Hollywood is The Social Network, who was starred by Jesse Eisenberg. He played the role of the very famous and very wealthy owner of Facebookâ"Mark Zuckerberg. The Social Network explains the drama behind the inception of Facebook, how Zuckerberg earned and lost not only millions of dollars, but faithful friends as well.
Though a lot of people say that the storyline of The Social Network is not even a tad bit close to the real thing, most movie goers have been really interested in it and wanted to see how the story was told. After all, the movie may not be one hundred percent factual, but fiction is sometimes and somehow drafted from fact.
Another DVD to watch out for is the release of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This third installment to the trilogy of C.S. Lewisâ epic masterpiece is sailing to our shores on April 8. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader records the adventures of Lucy and Edmund, this time with their cousin Eustace. All three were transported back to Narnia to help Prince Caspian in his mission with the seven kings.
This film no longer features the older Pevensies because they are no longer allowed to travel back to Narnia because they have grown up already. This DVD release should be marked on our calendars and definitely to watch out for.
